Breaking down the Babydoll dance choreography
The Human variant transfers movements from a full-tempo performance of the choreography onto the person from your photo. The camera remains stationary and the footage is a single continuous take of roughly 15 seconds:
| Time | What you do |
|---|---|
| 0 to 3 s | Energetic forward bounces approaching the camera, with arms making low circles at your sides. |
| 3 to 6 s | Step out sideways into a wider stance while opening your arms. |
| 6 to 9 s | Bring one hand up near your face with a flick, followed by spreading both arms wide. |
| 9 to 11 s | Rapid ball-change footwork with swinging arms. |
| 11 to 15 s | Step-touch movements with a hand near the face, finishing with one arm thrown high and pointing to the side. |
Keep smiling throughout: the Babydoll dance should appear effortless and joyful. Pet and Two pets replicate the AI cat reel instead, featuring small paw gestures, bounces and a spin.
Friends replicates footage of three companions on a country road, 15 seconds with one edit: pointing at the camera (0 to 1 s), raising both arms then spreading them wide (1 to 5 s), stepping and walking forward (5 to 8 s), the linked-hands Babydoll two-step approaching the camera (8 to 12 s), finishing with sunglasses and a sideways shuffle with a hand on the next person's shoulder (12 to 15 s).
Want to learn the Babydoll dance steps yourself? Look for a Jamie Miller Babydoll dance tutorial: Xito Rico's instructional video breaks down the choreography in counts of eight (forward bounces, a side step, a ball change, a "90s groove", a "superstar" jump and a "rockstar" arm gesture). The AI variant requires no rehearsal.
