Everything runs in your browser. No editing app required, no prompt to type, no watermark.

  1. Upload your photo

Click "Create your own" and upload yourself, full body visible. Capture it with your camera or choose from your library.

  2. Click Generate

The button displays the price. Kling 3.0 Motion Control takes the movements from the Wipe Me Down clip and applies them to the person in your photo, keeping your photo's setting, for roughly 10 seconds, with the reel's sound. No prompt needed.

  3. Download or share

Your video arrives in a few minutes as a 9:16 MP4. Download it, share from your device, or access it later in your Library.

What kind of photo works best?

Upload one full-body photo of yourself, standing upright. You'll perform the dance in your photo's location.

  • Full body visible, head to toes. The dance relies on knee and foot movement, so feet must be in frame. Cropping at the waist produces awkward or artificial legs.
  • Standing upright, looking at the camera, arms at your sides, with floor space around you and room above your head for hops.
  • Only one person, alone. Remove friends, pets or anyone else in the background by cropping.
  • Clear lighting, sharp focus. Sunglasses, hoods or caps covering your eyes can cause face distortion.
  • A vertical photo produces a vertical clip. A kitchen or living room with clear floor space resembles the viral clips most closely.
  • Use your own photo, or one of an adult who gave permission.

Where did the Wipe Me Down trend begin?

The dance is older than the AI trend. The Baltimore creator Carnell Nichols has danced his stomp to "Wipe Me Down", a 2007 rap song, on TikTok since at least June 2020, and he calls it the Carnell stomp. From 2023 his green-screen dance battles, where he out-dances people in other clips, took it to millions of views.

In summer 2026 the dance came back. On 17 August a creator from Myrtle Beach posted it in a kitchen with a friend: a lunge at the camera, a low bounce with the hands flicking at the floor, a jump, then the friend's turn. The clip had 12.4 million views and 1.8 million likes by 14 October. US Google searches for "wipe me down dance" rose from 590 in June to 1,300 in August.

From 28 September, CapCut AI templates turned one photo into the dance. A template post with a baby had 799,000 views and 24,900 shares by 14 October, and templates that swap new faces into the kitchen clip passed 650,000 views on 9 October.

Video prompt

One continuous single take, fixed camera, vertical video. Recreate the reference video exactly, but the dancer is the person from the reference image instead of the man: the same person with the same face, hair, skin tone, body and clothes, in the place from the reference image. The person performs the man's stomp dance frame by frame with the same timing, on the beat: knees bent low, the bouncy stomp from foot to foot, the hands flicking down at the floor on every beat, the shoulders rocking, the two hops, the step toward the camera and the arms swinging out to one side and then the other. Big happy grin, full of energy. No curly afro wig, no orange headband, no orange wristbands, no white basketball jersey with a number or a team name, no gray cargo shorts, no tattoos, no beard and no glasses unless the reference image shows them. No cuts, no text, no captions or logos on screen. Exactly one person, no extra people.

What's the credit cost?

Videos cost credits, and the exact price appears on the Generate button before you spend. The one-tap price includes the video, created in a single step from your photos and the trend clip, billed once. Each video costs 40 credits, so the smallest one-time pack covering it is $9.99 for 100 credits, no subscription required. Lower-priced models are available if you manually run prompts in AI Video.

What happens in the Wipe Me Down AI dance, step by step?

Smew AI captures the movements from a solo AI version and applies them to you, keeping your photo's original location. The camera remains positioned where your photo was taken, creating one continuous shot:

TimeWhat you do
0 to 1 sYou face forward with knees bent and hop to the rhythm.
1 to 5 sThe low stomp: you shift weight between feet, knees bent, hands flicking downward at the floor, shoulders moving.
5 to 7 sYou step closer to the camera and hop again, smiling big.
7 to 10 sYour arms swing left, then right, while maintaining the bounce.

How it works: Kling 3.0 Motion Control replicates the body movements from the trend clip, not the person in it. Your own face, hair and outfit remain. The clip runs about 10 seconds at 720p in your photo's frame, and the song resumes after generation. The exact cost displays on the Generate button before purchase. Each generation creates a fresh take, so outcomes vary.

Is it the same as the CapCut template?

It's the same dance, created differently. The CapCut templates overlay new faces onto the two-person kitchen clip, putting you in someone else's kitchen beside someone else, or they animate a baby picture. Here you perform solo: just you, in your location, wearing your clothes, without a template link or CapCut account.

Your baby instead? Our AI baby dance is designed for babies and toddlers, with proper baby proportions and its own two dances.

Your pet? We haven't located an AI pet version of this dance yet, so no pet option exists here. For a dancing pet, check out the AI dancing pet video.

A friend's turn? The viral clip concludes with a friend joining in. Create separate clips from similar photos and splice them in your editor.

What caption and hashtags suit a Wipe Me Down AI dance?

Caption ideas: "Wipe me down", "When the DJ plays it at the cookout", "Practising for the family reunion", "Tag who taught you this". Or write your own. Commenters on template posts request credit for Carnell Nichols, who created the stomp, so tagging him is a thoughtful gesture.

Hashtags: #wipemedown is the main one, with 24,949 TikTok videos and 743.5 million views on 14 October 2026. #wipemedownchallenge had 3,415 videos and 39.2 million views that day. Leave the platform's AI label intact.

Your clip includes the song, so it's ready to post. You can mute sound on the result screen and select audio when posting instead. FAQ

Wipe Me Down trend questions

What is the Wipe Me Down AI dance trend?
It's a TikTok trend converting single photos into brief AI clips showing the person performing the Wipe Me Down dance: a bouncy, low stomp with hands flicking at the floor, a hop and a smile. CapCut AI templates for it spread from 28 September 2026, following a viral kitchen version in August; that clip reached 12.4 million views by 14 October.
Who made the Wipe Me Down dance?
Baltimore creator Carnell Nichols, who calls it the Carnell stomp. He's performed it to the song on TikTok since at least June 2020, and on 14 September 2026 he posted that he created both the trend and the dance. The viral kitchen version from 17 August 2026 revived its popularity.
How do I make the Wipe Me Down dance with AI?
Click "Create your own" on this page and upload one full-body photo of yourself standing. Click Generate; the button displays the price beforehand. You receive a clip of roughly 10 seconds with the song. No prompt required, and your video appears in your Library when complete.
Is it the same as the CapCut template?
It's the same dance, created differently. The CapCut templates overlay new faces onto a two-person kitchen clip or animate baby photos. Here, Kling 3.0 Motion Control applies the movements to you in your photo's location, so no CapCut account or template link needed.
Can my baby or my pet do the Wipe Me Down dance?
Not here. This page works with one adult full-body photo. For babies, the AI baby dance template offers baby-specific dances with appropriate proportions. We haven't found an AI pet version of this dance yet; the AI dancing pet video animates your pet differently.
Where does the video background come from?
From your photo. Kling 3.0 Motion Control preserves your photo's location and only copies the movements from the trend clip. So a kitchen or living room with open floor resembles the viral clips most closely.
What song is in the Wipe Me Down AI dance?
The trend's signature sound: the same seconds from the 2007 rap song "Wipe Me Down" playing under trend clips, restored after generation. You can disable it on the result screen. The song belongs to its copyright holders, and Smew AI grants no rights to it.
What prompt does the Wipe Me Down AI dance use?
No creator published one: the viral versions come from closed CapCut templates, and no caption, comment or tutorial we found reveals a prompt. This template uses our own brief motion prompt for Kling 3.0 Motion Control that specifies the movements and preserves your face and outfit. You type no prompt.
Whose video is the example on this page?
It's the original AI reel by TikTok creator @mattshort85, posted on 12 October 2026: he uploaded his photo to an AI dance template and performs the dance alone. It's his clip, not a Smew AI result, and the Human version replicates its movements. We blurred his jersey's team name. When users create clips and allow us to display them, they'll appear here as well.
Is the dancing real?
No. The dance is AI-generated from one still photo, and you never performed these movements. Keep the AI label visible when posting.
How long is the video and what format is it?
Roughly 10 seconds, occasionally slightly shorter, as an MP4 at 720p with the song. The clip maintains your photo's aspect ratio, so a vertical photo produces a vertical 9:16 clip for TikTok, Reels or Shorts. No watermark included.
Is there a Wipe Me Down dance tutorial?
The steps: bounce low with bent knees, flick both hands at the floor each beat, hop, then swing your arms left and right. That's how to perform the Wipe Me Down dance, solo version rather than line dance. Or upload one photo and let AI dance for you.
Who is the Wipe Me Down dance guy?
It varies by clip. Baltimore creator Carnell Nichols originated the dance, naming it the Carnell stomp, and his TikTok clips from at least June 2020 onward are the Wipe Me Down dance original video. The viral kitchen clip from 17 August 2026 comes from a Myrtle Beach creator.
What is the Wipe Me Down song?
"Wipe Me Down" is a 2007 rap song by Lil Boosie, now called Boosie Badazz, with Foxx and Webbie. Your clip includes the seconds of it the trend uses; whether you add the song when posting, the original or a remix both suit the dance.
Is it the wipe it down dance or the wipe me down dance?
The same dance. The song lyrics say "wipe me down", and "wipe it down" is how some recall the line, so a wipe it down AI dance refers to this one too.
Is the Wipe Me Down challenge still on TikTok?
Yes. The most recognized clip from the 2026 Wipe Me Down TikTok wave is a viral kitchen video from 17 August, reaching 12.4 million views by 14 October, and numerous AI versions replicate that new Wipe Me Down dance.
Is there a Wipe Me Down dance GIF?
A Wipe Me Down dance GIF, meme or compilation features someone else. This page creates your personal video: an MP4 with the song, not a GIF.
Can I make an AI dance video from a photo?
Yes. Upload one full-body photo, and you'll receive the Wipe Me Down dance in roughly 10 seconds, with the song.
