Where did the APT Pink Studio Duo trend start?
"APT." (ROSÉ & Bruno Mars) released on 18 October 2024. The video shows one long party in a bright pink studio: Rosé sings at a microphone on the floor, Bruno Mars drums on a red kit, they lean together, sing toward the lens and dance. By 15 October 2026 it reached about 2.7 billion YouTube views. Cat versions appeared within weeks: a cat dance video set to the song, posted with #aptcat on 26 November 2024, reached 7.6 million TikTok views by October 2026.
In late September 2026 the AI version exploded. AI video tools can now recreate a video shot by shot and replace the faces, so creators inserted two new faces into the studio, starting with famous ones, then their own. AI video sites converted it into a two-photo template from 29 September: photo 1 drums, photo 2 sings. On 6 October a Peruvian couple shared their own APT AI video, the video at the top of this page, and AI cat versions of the studio scene, the APT cat trend, appeared alongside the people versions.
